Year 3 – Tamworth Castle Trip!

Year 3 shared so much fun, laughter and learning earlier this week on a fantastic day out at Tamworth Castle. We had some amazing parent helpers come along, (Murtaza’s dad and Zafraan and Julia’s mums) Thank you all so much for your help… you were great!

We had a lovely time exploring the castle and later, some of the castle staff, (who were dressed as tudor people) held workshops for the children to participate in.

Year 3 – watch the video below then can you show me what you have learnt on the trip by answering these questions:

1.) What is the proper name for the feather pen we used to write our names with?

2.) Write down two differences between rich and poor people of the time.

3.) What sort of metal were the plates and cups made from?

4.) Do you think the castle is haunted? Why do you think this?
