Year 3 White Science – Planting Project!

Year 3 have been learning about plants and how our gardens grow in Science this term. They have really enjoyed learning about different plants and flowers, and lots of the children in 3 White have even been bringing in flowers from home!

We are now starting a new planting project in Year 3 White, which will allow the children to observe and nurture plants from seed. Watch our introductory video and watch this space!

The questions we would like Year 3 White to think about are:

  1. If the plant in the video measures 35cm, how tall do you think plant number 2 is?
  2. What do plants need to grow successfully?
  3. Can you research two facts about sunflowers?
