British Science Week!
We had a fantastic first day celebrating British Science Week! We began the day by attending an exciting Science assembly! It was full of cool explosions and exciting experiments! We then applied our addition skills in Maths to capacity and potions! Later, we explored Roald Dahl's 'George's Marvellous Medicine' and identified exciting imagery and language. Some of us compared this text to Shakespeare's Macbeth. We ended the day by visting' 'DNA Dan' in the Science pod. He taught us how to make exploding volcanoes using vinegar and baking soda! We really enjoyed this experience. Finally, we designed our own illustrations in the style of Roald Dahl.
