Year 4 Health and Wellbeing Day – Resilience and Brilliance!

Resilience and Brilliance!

Year 4 have had a fantastic day following the many values that we adhere too at Broad Heath. All children had the opportunity to discuss the term ‘resilience’, then perfect their skills on the mini golf course! They were challenged to pot their hole in as few turns as possible, which took perseverance and resilience. They were then asked to practise their basketball shooting skills, showcasing brilliance as they scored through the hoops.

Have a look at the video below of the day – can you spot yourself?

  • Tell me how you improved your skills today.
  • What tips could you give to younger children who want to play mini golf or basketball?
  • What did you most enjoy about this session?

I improved my skills by aiming at the target.
A tip I would give to younger children is don’t hit the bat on the ball to hard or don’t throw too high for the basketball.
I enjoyed hitting the bat on the ball and aiming.
