Year 4 Tennis County Final

On Friday 6th July, our 4 talented Tennis players from year 4 travelled to Warwick university for the big school games level 3 county finals. Over 1000 pupils took part in several events like rounders, hockey, athletics etc. Umarr, Aliko, Devanshi & Maria not only represented our school but Coventry West.

Although we didn’t win they played some great tennis and lost by 2 points to the team who went on to win the gold medals. Sport can sometimes be really cruel but these 4 pupils played with a smile on their face all day and congratulated every opponent on a great game…

  1. Well done Year 4. It’s not the winning that counts as much. it is how you play which tells whether you are a good player. Keep on making us proud guys!
