Children return to school Mon 8th April

What a wonderful day we have had in Year 4!

We have had a fantastic well being day and we are very impressed with each and every one of you and it has been a pleasure working with you.

Here are some of the activities we have done today.

Swimming

We practised swimming on our front and back using floats as aids. We finished the session of with some free play in the pool using ball, hoops, music and lights.

Yoga

The children have taken part in a yoga session today. We learnt a range of yoga poses to stretch our muscles and relax. We also meditated to focus our attention and experience inner peace.

Mindfulness

The children had time to colour a pattern whilst thinking about how this made them feel.

Golf and curling

Children loved being out in the fresh air playing golf, practising maths skills as well as getting some exercise! Sadly, rain stopped play for two groups but they enjoyed some fast-paced curling in the studio!

Appreciation of nature
What a fabulous day we have had being at one with nature and letting our creative juices flow to produce some very impressive art! Here are the finished pieces and a video showcasing the process and hard work involved.
