    1) if you couldn’t read you would have know their was supposed to be 4 glass bottles and they represent earth,fire,air and water.

    2) In Victorian Times pills were made with a special machine.

    3) The coal mine was very dangerous as you couldn’t see a thing in it and I think it would have been very hard for them because what if you banged your head onto the rocks.

    4) The children would have used newspaper to make their Christmas decoration and after it gets dirty they would have used it for the fire.

    In the coal mine it was very dangerous and dark.the people could die because if the ground shakes and a small peice of rock could goes in your eye there is a big chance that you might die.

    The Victorian homes only had one bedroom where all of the brother and sisters sleep in and the baby slept in draws.

    I had a very horrific experience because we had to turn the lamps off so we could see the mannequins working also it was fun to go under the ground.

    I found that there was a lady called Mary and she help the Woman to have a better life.

    I say that the Chainmakers work is very painful because he has to use a hammer and he could the the hammer on his hand.

    The Victorian Houses had a fire place and they used coal to lite it on fire also they don’t have central heating and hot water from a tap.

    In the coal mine it was very unpleasant and now one would want to work in there many had died in there.

    If you couldn’t read you could look at every shop and when there were medicine behind the window it was a chemist.

    Pills were made with a machine that had bumpy lines on it and a handle which you scraped on it and made a pill.

    3) The experience in the coal mine was very dangerous because when the rocks fell and the floor shook you might die because the rocks might go very fast and go in your eye or your heart.

    They used newspapers to decorate their house because they thought that fabric was much expensive.

    Being a chains maker was very risky because you might burn yourself.

    7) Men have to use a hammer to join the chain together to make the chain and bigger hammers for the Bigger Chain.

    3.Working in a coal mine is the same as being in hell as children would have to work there in the age of 6.It was such big torcher.
    4.To decorate their homes they used paper and that was mostly done by children.

    If you could not read, you had to look at the top of the window and see if there were 2 or 4 medicine bottles.

    In the mine, everything was pitch black so we had to use torches to find our way around.When people worked in the mines, they could have died as there could have been avalanches.

    People decorated their homes by using Christmas trees, these little trees were made out of paper.

    In the worker`s institute, I found out there was a lady named Mary who helped the Women`s life.

    Mary was a Women who came from a place named Glasgow t help the Women get on with their life’s.

    The Chain Workers used to have a really hard time doing their job as while they used to do it, they could have burnt their hands.

    In the Victorian Times, people used to have tiny houses, they usually had one living room, one storage closet and one bedroom.Everybody had to squish in one bed except babies, they slept in draws.

    The lamps only had a tiny bit of light in them, if their lights ran out, they could only use their lamps, they would have not been able to see clearly.

    Miss Redhead was given the cane as she was not able to write with her right hand, only her left.

    She was hit on the left hand as people used to believe that people using their left hands were evil, on the Devil`s side.
