Our final Project week for this half term and what a jammed pack week it has been. This week has been about computing and Year 5 have learned about the program called Scratch – and used this for their animation. Over the last few weeks, they have been reading a book called Ant Clancy Games Detective and selected certain scenes to use in their animation. The children have created their own characters, backgrounds and conversations from the story. They learned how to input their characters and backgrounds into the program and switch from one background to the other. They found this tricky but did showed resilience and perseverance.
Take a look at their work.
Was it fun using your own characters and watching them move and talk?
What did you find most difficult? Why?
How could you improve for next time?
