Children return to school Mon 8th April

On Tuesday 21st June Broad Heath’s year 5 team took part in the final of the Coventry schools tag rugby finals having qualified by winning the previous competition.

The girls had a modest start, drawing their first game, and after 3 games they had won 1, draw 1 and lost 1. After that however they got in a sensational run, winning all the remaining 5 games. Thee were some excellent individual efforts running with the ball, as well as some brilliant team tagging.
The final result was that the girls came 2nd over all. It was a very special day for the students and their families, especially considering the fantastic setting at the Butt Arena. Well done to all the girls who took part, it was a pleasure to watch you play.
