    There are 6 hexpods and 3 octopods.I know this because 6 squared is 36 and 8 times 3 is 24.36+24=60 and there are 60 legs altogether.

    There are 6 tripods and 3 quadpods.I know this because 3 times 6 is 18 and 4 times 3 is 12.18+12=30 and there are 30 legs altogether.
