In the paragraph “ The next morning” Cally and Kingdom were trying to figure out how to tie a rope to a dead tree when Cally looked tip check I& any one was there as she felt that she was being watched. And she looked out at the field to see the boy that she saw on the first day at Rose Cottage.

    2. Cally thought that the boy was wearing a costume as she thought that as the clothes were ragged. But the boy was actually poor as all of his family is dead and he does not go to the school . He even said that his Grandmother was a Witch and took them to see her grave. He even told them that Malkin tower aka Rose Cottage was a bad place to live.

3.) “ A patchwork of green and brown” I think that this suggest that Pendleton hill is a bad place to look at beacause it does not look beautiful but the view down made up for the look of the hill. I do not doubt that it would look good from the view.

4.) I think the wind is maleficent as Cally and Kingdom could not hear James in the wood as his words got caught in the wind. That is impressive as James was even shouting and you could not hear him. If the wind blew quicker and harsher I think it could of blew someone off Pendle Hill. Now that is dangerous.

They wanted to start on Mr Bolton’s project as it might give them answers to what the engraving on the witches gravestone as it said DEMIDIKE on the stone and Cally and Kingdom wanted to find out what they meant.
