  1. My over all expression of Jabberwocky. Is that it is rally interesting as it has lot of voices, action and facial expression was entertaining. And effective

My over all expression of no breathing is that it is very funny, lot of expression and has lot of sound effects.

The language that was the best was Jabberwocky because he use lot of repletion and rhetorical questions and lot of new words.

I prefer no breathing because it is funny more interesting and entertaining.

It was similar because they both had lot of experience and they both new it with out looking at the script. They were different because they both had different topics and no breathing has more experience than Jabberwocky.

I could use the same topic the same phrase (he took his vorpal sword in hand)and the same question he

  2. 1) My overall impression of the language was a lot of action ,sound effects , expression dialogue eg “Miss can I go outside to breath ”
Repetition – no breathing onomatopoeia – kerpoom NO BREATHING
My overall impression of the language was repetition-1,2,1, 2 onomatopoeia and personification. (JabberWocky)
    2) No breathing used the best language because it was effective and used onomatopoeia such as – *pa

    3) I prefer the no breathing poem because it was entertaining and interesting because he used a lot of action and a different voice .
    4) similar they both had action ,expression and loud voices .
Different no breathing didn’t have a lot of personification and jabberwocky didn’t have a lot of reputation .
    5) I would take the way they use there expression ,hand action and how no breathing spoke in a children’s voice (kids).

  3. Our overall impressions were that they were both good but No Breathing was funny and it has lots of language like onomatopoeia and lots of punctuation.

We think No Breathing used the best language because it used relative clauses and punctuation and conjunctions Jabberwocky used the least language and used similes and punctuation.

We prefer No Breathing because they used expression different voices and they were confident and they used language like onomatopoeia and relative clauses.

The similar thing about Jabberwocky and No Breathing is that they used some same language because they both used punctuation and they both were good they both used expression.

We could project our voices and use different language we could use expression and we could be confident and use actions and we could use facial expression.

  4. My first impression was the words were a little random but they were really funny.
I also think that No breathing was a funny poem because it had lots of repetition and lots of onomatopoeias .Me and rayan thought it was very entertaining and we would both very happily watch it again.

No breathing used funny expressions. No breathing gave was very entertaining.

Repetition-“Miss”,”Kerpoom”,”Go on miss ,oh go on”,”Aaaaaah”.
    Onomatopoeias-“Pah,pah”,”Promo”,”Gasp”,”Safluut”.
Relative clause-“We have a teacher who is so strict”. It

They are all very affective but the Jabberwocky’s features are as affective.Jabberwocky’s features are

Repetition-“One two,one two”,”Twist brilliant and the sloths toves”.
Tension-Stop voice quietly and then start again with a louder voice.
Description of the Jabberwocky-“The Jabberwocky with eyes of flame”,”The jaws that bite”,”The claws that catch.”.
    Onomatopoeia-“callooh”,”Callay”.

No breathing was funnier and entertaining whereas Jabberwocky had better features than No breathing.

I prefered No breathing because it is really funny and it’s about school when we were in school when we watched it.I think I like it a little bit better because I know Micheal Rosen more than I know the guy that read it and the women that wrote the poem.Rayan thinks that ” best poem was no breathing because it is really funny and it made her laugh “she said to me.

The similarities are that they both change their tone and repetition he diffrents Is that one of them made se sense and the other didn’t .i could take some of the language and could also put tone in it.

  5. The overall impressions were for no breathing was that it was entertaining because he used facial expressions in the correct way.Another expression was it made me laugh. The overall expression for Jabberwocky was that it had interesting tone in his voice going high to low to high.Another impression was that he could use more action in the performance.

No breathing used language the best because it had used lots of onomatopoeia. The onomatopoeia examples are:aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!pah! There is also repetition in every line but it just end it with more things than before.

KA:Jabberwocky was more effective.I prefer this more because it has a clear voice even when whispering. I also prefer this because the expressions and facial expressions were good and on time .I also prefer this because the action were only used when they were needed.

IR:I prefer no breathing because lit has a lot of action and facial expressions.I also like this because it has expressions when someone was speaking for example when the boy was in school prison or the teacher saying”No breathing!”.

What was similar was the both had facial expressions and they both have repetition in the verses. What was also similar was they have onomatopoeia. What was different between the two the poems is that they have got a different form of repetition .Another thing different was that they both used different types of expression and action.

I can take the onomatopoeia and put it in my own peom.

  6. In No Breathing, the overall impression was that it was entertaining because he was mimicking in children’s voices .In Jabberwocky, the overall impression was that he knew all the lines by heart. The performance of No Breathing was that he used expression and onomatopoeia well however in Jabberwocky, he used lots of expression to make the poem effective. The language in No Breathing had repetition when it says ‘NO BREATHING
    The weak ones: Ker-Poom,Ker-poom,Ker-poom!
The whiny ones:Miss! Can I go out and do some breathing? I think that NO BREATHING used better language because it had lots of expressions

I preferred the poem NO BREATHING because it was entertaining and it had lots of key features as well. The thing that is similar in both poems is that it has repetition. The thing that is different in both poems is that NO BREATHING doesn’t have rhyming words however Jabberwocky does.I can use figurative language and Onomatopoeia for my writing on Friday.

  7. 1)My overall impressions and language of no breathing is the impressive expression and the exiting words and for preformence there is lots of expression and repetition to make it more eyecatching
My overall impressions and language of Jaber wocky is the interesting onomatopoeia and the descriptive language and for preformence there is a little bit of repitition to make it more exiting.
2)I think no breathing had better language than Jabberwocky because it had more repitition ,expression and actions e.g repeated previous verses and he used actions in all of his verses.

3)I preferred no breathing because he was making it very exciting and funny. He used a lot of action whereas in Jabberwocky they didn’t use as much.He included repitition and expression which was very funny.
4)The things that were similar are they both used repitition, expression and onomatopoeia .The things that were not similar are no breathing used actions whereas Jabberwocky did not.
5)we can take the actions, onomatopoeia and we can take the expression.

  8. NO BREATHING
My overall impression was good it was very funny because it used lots of impression in it and it looked like he enjoyed and he didn’t have a sad face.My overall impression was funny because when he put his face under the camera to show performance he used impression and imagination and it made you think a picture in your head. For performance I think he was acting it out and explaining so you can learn and have fun and laugh at the same time.he was also using different voices like the children’s voices and loud teacher voices
For performance I think he was acting properly and he wasn’t messing around so I liked it a lot.For language we think it had lots of repetition in it examples: when he went through the process again.Onomatopoeia-‘Kerr-poor ‘Aaaaaaaah’

    Jabberwocky
My overall impression was all right because he showed in his face that he like performing jabberwocky but it could have been better he could use more actions though. My overall impression was that it had a lot expression and it was funny because how he was acting.we both thought it was funny.I thought that the performance was bad because the things he did didn’t have any actions to it all he did was swaying from side to side and I don’t think that is that affective it was boring but he was loud and clear and he had a happy face and he smiled throughout the whole poem.I thought the performance was good because he was acting it out and he had expression on his face.I think this because when he was acting it was funny. The language was good but some of the words were made up it had lots of repition

  9. 1)One the first poem “No Breathing” my overall impressions was I like it because it showed actions and it had repitishion like “aaaaaaaaah pah”. It was very funny. He was making kid voices which made me laugh.
    2) No Speaking had better language because it had a lot of repetition and it had more discretion than jabber wacky. It had repetition like “aaaaaaaaaaaahhhh” and “kerp poom”.
    3) we preferred No breathing Because it made me laugh and was very funny. It was because when he pulled a face.
    4) The thing similar was they both had actions to it.And thing that was not similar was Jabber wacky he was a bit quiet and No breathing was very loud.
5)The thing we could do is clear voice. And I think action.

  10. My overall impression is about don,t breathe in class and sit at a desk with a lid on the top of the table there one person winning the lauguage I used is simile, there was that strick teacher they had in lessons time and they always was winning at the teacher because she was funny the children thought she being mean to all of the children because she was horrible to little children she had to look after while she teaching the children.

They had to go home to eat and sleep in till school starts tomorrow at 9:00 and it was early for them

  11. No breathing
The performance no breathing was funny and very good because he said the” tiny ones ,miss! “Can I go and do some breathing pleas was funny. When he said “can I go out and do breathing “he had lot of expression
and actions he was using his hands and it was the best performance and this is the best performance because he was speaking very loud so the audience can here him better.
and lot of onomatopoeia he had lots of voices to be the characters also he was so funny.
    Jabberwocky :
I did not like Jabberwocky because it never had good deatials and this was bad performance so they could use much better words. The similar thing is that they had onomatopoeia. And it used onomatopoeia the best because it was entrusting because it said bandersnatch.

  12. I did not like jabberwocky because the person who was saying the poem didn’t have a loud voice. The first poem, no breathing, I preferred it because it was more interesting
and it was more funny. The 2 one had more language .eg: relative clause” with eyes of flame” .

I preferred the first one because it had a loud and funny voices . They were similar because they both changed their voices. The difference was that the jabberwocky had more description than no breathing.

We need a loud voice when we are talking. We also need description and a little bit of action.

  13. Our overall impressions for “no breathing” are that we liked his expression such as when he was saying the whiny kids said “aww miss can I go and breath.” Also we liked that he used his hands to show how they did it. As well as he had different expressions such as a kids voice. In Jabberwocky we liked that he used words that don’t exist also he could of used his hands or moved around the stage.

No breathing used the best language because it used lots of repetition such as when he said ” Once more from the beginning” and carried on. Also he used face expression such as using his eyes seriously and he made different noise. We prefer the “no breathing” because he was funny and also he was not grumpy while performing. As well as we liked it because funny face expressions.

The thing that was same was that both of them had repetition in jabberwocky in the first and last paragraph are the same and in no breathing he repeated the same thing 3 or 4 times. The thing that was different about them is that in jabberwocky there was no action however in no breathing was action and lots of expression. We could use face expression and use different voices for another character. We could also use action so it is not boring and that the audience could laugh and have fun.

  14. Jabberwocky and no breathing

My overall impression about the no breathing poem was that it had lots of entertaining parts and effective accents, which were very amusing. It was also liked it as it was very creative and had lots of actions. I really liked the range of voices. I liked it as it was telling a story kind of and it had lots of creative ideas and the structure was really great.

For the jabberwocky poem I thought at it was really detailed and had lots of entertaining voices, actions and body language. I also liked it as it had lots of action and it was entertaining and mythical. It is good as it is a nonsense poem and they are really full of unusual sounds and words.

The one that used language the most is the no breathing as it has lots of onomatopoeia in such as “kerpoom”. Also there was a range of figurative language some more examples are repetition as in each verse it tells you about the previous verse. There are relative clauses for example “who was very strict”.

The performance I’d prefer is the no breathing poem because if had lots more and a more variety of figurative language and there was a lot of facial expressions also it was more funny and had lots of hand movements.

The things that were similar was that they both had and repetition for the jabberwocky poem there was a repetition of the first and last verses. Another thing that was similar is that the poems had action and they were both entertaining and both poems had a range of voices.

  15. The overall impression for Jabberwocky was that the man had lots of expression and was confident for his first poem but on the Other hand no breathing had a lot of repartition and was very funny.

I think no breathing had the best language use and onomatopoeia whereas jabberwocky we didn’t understand .The best performance was no breathing because it was fun and had repetition .

The most similar thing in the poems that they both have expression. The thing that was different is that the performance had weird words like Tumtum tree and Jabberwocky whereas the no breathing one was proper English and was fun.

We could take the repartition and the facial expressions. We could also take the voices and the actions. We could led take the similes and metaphors. Also we could use the figurative language.

  16. No breathing and Jabberwocky
I like this poem because he used lots of repetition and he tried to use different voices like a child’s voice. He used a loud voice so is clear and lots of dialogue. He Used onomatopoeia the best because he used the word ‘KA BOOM KABOOM’. I liked No breathing because he used lots of expression and action.

The Jabberwocky was different to no breathing because in Jabberwocky he was performing to lots of people and he used lots of made up words like kaloo kalay. Whereas no breathing is not performing live and he used lots of repetition and onomatopoeia. We could take the made up words from Jabberwocky and the onomatopoeia from no breathing.

  17. Jabberwocky and No breathing.

Our overall impressions were that “No breathing in class” was more entertaining as it was very funny and made us laugh. Howether Jabberwocky was OK as it had a lot of figurative language.

No breathing in class’s performance was really good as it used a lot of good expressions, actions such as arm movements and eye rolling which really made us laugh😂.

On the other hand Jabberwocky didn’t really do any funny actions howether the way the man said it was funny and made us laugh a bit 😅

In No breathing there was a lot of Onamatopia for example
Kaboom , Panama and tut tut.

Also in Jabberwocky the 1st and last paragraph are the same.
There is also a lot of Rhyming for example “He left it dead and with it’s head ….” And also it has some alleteration such as Snicker Snack

  18. JABBERWOCKY.

My overall imperessions of the language for jabber wacky was good because he used onomatopoeia and had lots of facial expressions and he also had body language. He had a very loud voice and loud expression.Jabberwocky was also repetitive at the beginning and the end.The language I liked the most was the onomatopoeia because some of the noises was loud.some examples are Callooh Callay.

    No Breathing.
I liked no breathing because he had a loud voice and had a lot of repetition. He used onomatopoeia a lot.some of the examples are ker-boom ker-boom.No breathing also had some figurative language such as similes figurative language.

The poem that we liked most was no breathing. The reason why is because he has more body language.

    By Sahrah and Rayyan.

  19. YWe think that the overall impression was that the jabwrocky and no BREATHING!!! The impression of jabWrocky had expression ,tone and repetition however no breathing had
    repetition and confidence.

we think that the jabwrocky had most of the entertainment of the language and no breathing has not got interesting language .

We prefer the jabwrocky because it entertains the audience and it also has a change of tone .

The similarities are that the jabwrocky and no breathing have figurative language.

We can take interesting words, tone of voice to our performance on Friday.

  20. The Jabberwocky

We got inspired by the jabberwocky because it had a lot of expression and made up words as it was a nonsense Poem.It also had onomatopoeia such as SNICKER – SNACK! and CALLOOH – CALLAY!He changed his tone of voice and his tempo he did this by starting of slow and quiet but he got fast and louder at the end.

    Strict (Michael Rosen)

The poem strict got us excited as it used action and great expression. For example when it said (No BREATHING) he pointed his finger to the audience and used a loud tone of voice. He also used onomatopoeia by shouting CABOOM!!!

The strict poem used language the best because it had more expression and onomatopoeia and created images in our head to imagine what it was like.

We prefer the strict poem because it used more actions and created more imagery whereas the jabberwocky didn’t use that much actions.

Both of the poems had a great tone of voice and used onomatopoeia. However the strict poem used real words whereas the jabberwocky used made up words.

We could use good expression to put into our performances on Friday and great onomatopoeia. We cold also use a loud tone of voice and say our words clearly.

By Haleema asif and Kaiden Dryden

  21. Jabberwocky and Strict.
Our overall impression with the Jabberwocky is good because it is has a good use of figurative language such as snicker snack ,callooh! callay. The Man who was reciting the poem started with a slow voice and then when the Poem progressed he started going faster and projected his voice. We think that the Jabberwocky uses the language the best because it is a nonsense poem and it is more fun.

We prefer the Michael Roswen Strict because he uses a lot of repetition and uses a lot of facial expression. The thing which was similar about the performance was the fact that they both use facial expression and onomatopoeia .

  22. No Breathing and Jabberwocky:

The overall impression of Jabberwocky is that it had onomatopoeia and different tones and repetitions.

2)The poem which used better language was NO BREATHING because it included lots of repetition as it repeated the verses again and again. It also included onomatopoeia such as ker-poom ker-poom.

3)I prefer no breathing because it had loads of expressions which were funny and because it was different as most poems rhyme but this one doesn’t also it includes alliteration and included loads of actions with is face which matched what he was saying.

4)The differences was that Jabberwocky had made up words such as ‘Twas brillig’.The similar thing was that both of the poems had onomatopoeia and also had different tones.

    5) we can take from these poems is that we could be confident when we are performing and we can use onomatopoeia like what they did and we could use repetition and different tones in different areas in our poem.

    Hi

  23. I think no breathing is better as it uses more onomatopoeia and more actions.I also think that it’s good as his actions are entertaining and not boring. He also uses verbal and uses body languages.I also think no breathing has better language than jab a wacky as it’s more entertaining and has more entertaining as jabbawack is a nonsense poem and is boring.NO BREATHING is also well as it has funny expression.

One of the differences is that jabbawacky is a nonsense poem and no breathing actually makes sense.

  24. 1. No breathing has more repetition. Also Jabberwocky had a bit more expression than No breathing such as more actions the tones where different like some words he said were high and some were low.
    2. No breathing used more onomatopoeias than Jabberwocky such as aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, pah, ker-boom, gasp gasp, ptoom and sqfluut.
    3. I prefer No breathing because it facial expression , actions that matches the poem and repetition .
    4. The similarities about the poems they both have onomatopoeias , different tones and repetition .
    5. We can take some of the figurative language from it ,actions, different tones and some repetition from the poems to use on Friday.
    By Martins and Shkula

  25. The overall impressions was in the jabberwocky the person had expression and was confident whereas no breathing had lots of action and expressions .
I think the useful language is no breathing because we do understand the language however Jabberwocky we do no because it says weird words.
The best performance was no breathing because it was fun and had repetition.
The most similar thing in the poems that they both have expression.
I can take all the expression

  26. No Breathing and Jabberwocky:

  27. The overall impression of the jabberwocky is good because the boy was loud and clear and at the end he had repetition as well as,he had onomatopoeia. The best language out of them was the jabberwocky because he had repetition at the end and the beginning which was ‘Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wave.

The performance that we prefer is the jabberwocky because it had loud tempo and low however he had onomatopoeia and better expression then the second best we liked was no breathing. The thing they had similar is they both had good actions and the difference between them was the jabberwocky had low and high pitch and the no breathing poem stayed the same.

I can take from these poem is expression, high and low pitch, onomatopoeia, loud and clear voices and actions.

Hamda Response: I think in JabberWocky, the Man used hand actions and also he used different voices which made the poem a lot better and effective so that made the JabberWocky very good.

    No Breathing.
Hamda Response: Michael Rosen kept on repeating the poem again and again. He had Onomatopoeia such as,Ker boom Ker Boom Ker Boom.Michael used his Facial Expression as well so that made it the poem very effective.

Elyass Response: I think that in No Breathing Michael Rosen did onomatopoeia and used body expression and mostly used a sort of tune so it was very catchy.

  30. 👍Mine and Nabeel’s thoughts👍
1 .I think in both of the poems as they used a range of tone .Also they used facial expression and moved there hand to entertain.

    2. We think NO BREATHING used language the best, because it used the onomatopoeias correctly like KABOOM.

3.We preferred No Breathing because it was more catchy, funny and informative.

4.One thing that was similar is that they both used facial expressions. One thing that was different is that No Breathing was more funny.

    5. We can take the informative and funny parts so it is catchy.

  31. 1) The thing I liked about both poems was that I liked it when the two men used good expression and they used good body action. They also used good expression by shouting words and sometimes the man who was reading Jabberwocky sometimes whispered.

    2) Michael Rosen used good language because he kept using onomatopoeia to make his performance good.

3)I liked No Breathing the best because Michael Rosen kept making running sounds and really good expression.

    4) The similar thing that they done was that they used onomatopoeia, whereas, the different thing that they done was that Michael Rosen used more body movement than the other.

5)From Michael Rosen we could learn the body movement and expression. Also in Jabberwocky the man used really good repetition.

  32. No Breathing
No breathing he had lot of expression
and actions he was using his hands and it was the best performance
and lot of onomatopoeia he had lots of voices to
be the characters also he was funny but the jabberwocky
    was not funny

    Jabberwocky
Jabberwocky was the worst because he
didn’t have any actions and his expression was
not good and his performance no breathing had
good performances and he just kept standing
    still in one place
