Read this extract from Macbeth:
Bronze: Draw this scene, illustrating the setting and the three witches’ conversation. Use clues from the script to help create an accurate illustration.
Silver: Bronze plus… Describe this scene as it would be written in a story, using the narrator’s voice. Remember to show off with your writing, using features such as adverbial phrases, prepositions, adjectives, similes, metaphors, personification, advanced punctuation and a variety of sentence types.
Gold: Draw and describe, using the narrator’s voice, the future setting for when the witches next meet again, as they describe in this scene. Use clues from the script to help you and include the features described in the Silver task in your writing.
