Year 5, your goal by the end of the week is to design, create and test a garden game, which should be playable according to social distancing rules.
This project week will be broken down into various categories over the course of the week. Today you will be thinking about the following!
- Tuesday: ‘Think it’ – Start to think and gather ideas of an Entrepreneur in your head, what they do? How they think? and getting into an Entrepreneur’s mindset. Also, start to think about ideas about ‘what makes a good garden game?’
- Tuesday: ‘Research it’ – Researching about different garden games and getting an idea of the ‘games market’ – what is a popular garden game? What is social distancing?
Use computer skills to research about an Entrepreneur to understand what one is and why they are important.
Please watch Mr Inman’s excellent video on how to research different Entrepreneurs
Create a research poster, fact file or picture board about one of the following sports Entrepreneurs, who have been influential with games and sports in different ways:
- Karen Brady
- Kobe Bryant
- Venus Williams
- Tony Hawk
Your task is to create a colourful and detailed poster about:
Who that person is? Why are they important? How are they an Entrepreneur? What did they do to become an Entrepreneur?
As well as this, you will need to consider and answer the following questions on your poster, in detail and full sententces:
What is an Entrepreneur?
What is a sports Entrepreneur?
What skills do Entrepreneurs need to be successful?
What Broad Heath values does a successful Entrepreneur need to display?
Add lots of colourful pictures, diagrams and symbols that represent what an Entrepreneur is (Use google images to support)
For example, if I wanted to draw symbols that related to football, I may draw a team badge, a ball, a goal, a stadium, grass etc! All of these are symbols of football! See if you can do the same for an Entrepreneur!
Remember make it bold, colourful, big and stand out! Use a big sheet of paper if you can! We want to see work that is FANTASTIC and you have put a lot of effort and time in to! Below are some random poster examples, use them as inspiration to get started!
