    SILVER CHALLENGE
    The shortest route Santa will be able to take would be 30 metres as each route is 10 metres, and as he likes to on every path at least once, there would be 3 lots of 10. I know that 3 lots of 10 is the same as 3 x 10, and I also know that 3 x 10 is 30. Therefore, Santa’s shortest route is 30 metres.

    GOLD CHALLENGE
    The cheapest route the bus can take is:
    A—F= £4
    F—C= £2
    C—E= £2
    E—D= £4
    D—B= £5
    B—A= £4
    Total = 4 + 5 + 4 + 4 + 2 + 2 = £21
