Year 6 End of Year update

Good afternoon all,

As you know already, we have had to cancel the prom and the camping trip.

However, we will be holding a Year 6 Party which will take place in school time. This will take place on Monday 19th July. We will be providing the children burgers and pizza but we would like all children to bring ‘packed’ foods. Foods such as: crisps, biscuits, cakes, drinks etc. Basically anything packaged from a supermarket etc.

I am afraid to say that we have to say no for children to bring in home cooked food. As much as we would like families to do this, at this time we have to respectfully say no.

We will holding ‘class graduations‘ this year. This will take place in the main hall but in a more ‘informal’ style. There will be drinks and cakes for parents as well as a chance to the teachers to say a few words and give out certificates etc. We regret that ONLY 1 parent/adult is allowed to enter for each child. Please keep your distance when you arrive to the main office ( please enter through Hanford Close gate only) and wear a mask.

The times are:

6R – Friday 9th July 2.15pm

6W and 6B – Wednesday 14th July

Virtual assembly:Friday 16th July – 1.45pm

T-Shirts – Children will have the opportunity to bring in an old school t-shirt to get signed on the Monday 19th July. Please bring this along with your normal school uniform.
