  1. 1)This half term I have progressed because I now know how to prenounce and say foods and drinks in Spanish.

2)My learning could help me in real life if I go 🇪🇸 Spain 🇪🇸 or if I meet someone who is Spanish. This is because they might speak Spanish.

3)I think I have progressed in my food and drink vocabulary as before I didn’t know many food and drinks in Spanish.

4)My favourite activity this half term was when we created menu-s.

5)The area I would like to improve on is memorising the words because I was struggling to remember what the Spanish word is and what it translates to.

6)I would like to learn about the animals and I would also like to learn about sports.

  2. This half term I have learnt a bigger range of food and drinks in Spanish such as chirmayas which means apple and custard crumble and strawberry mislshake which is batido de fresa. This learning will support me in real life as I wold be able to speak Spanish when necessary. I would rate my progress in food and drink 7 out of 10. My favourite activity was creating a food chart which would be Spanish and it would be optional to translate it into English. This was my favourite activity as I learnt a range of new food and drinks in Spanish. The area in Spanish I would want to improve on is ordering something in Spanish.

  7. We have learned about foods and restaurant menus we also made our own menu.
This learning would help us in real life because you might have a Spanish friend that might
not know good English or you might go to Spain for a holiday.

  8. What have you learnt this half term?
This half term in Spanish we have been learning/ revising food and drinks. Some new words I have learnt are:
    Atún-tuna
    Mantequilla-butter
    Salachicha de salami-salami sausage
    Etc

How will this learning support you in real-life?
If we go to Spain for some sort of reason and are hungry we can order the specific food we want in Spanish which will be helpfull.or if we decide to learn Spanish later on in life we will find it easier.

How would you rate your progress in this topic ‘Food and Drink’?
Out of ten , I personally think I have made progress and will say 8 1/2.

What has been your favourite activity?
Creating the restaurant menus was quite enjoyable and also challenging for we learnt new words while searching for different things linked to our subject.

In which area would you like to improve in?
I am quite confident in this topic but can I prove on my vegetable names memorisation.

What else would you like to learn about within your Spanish lessons?
    Name of animals
And revision to recap our learning. A test would be ideal.

  9. 1) This term I have progressed my knowledge of food and drink in Spanish and also learnt how to make a Spanish restraunt menus.

    2) My learning in Spanish could help me in real life as if I ever go to Spain and I am hungry, I could properly order food in Spanish instead of English.

    3) I think I have made a massive progress in the ‘food and drink’ learning as I have learnt many new foods in Spanish that I haven’t learnt before.

    4) My favourite activity of this half terms when we created the restraunt menus as it was really fun to translate English to Spanish and create a bold menu for a restraunt!

    5) I would like to practise actually memorising the foods as I struggled to remember the actual foods so I would be nice I could actually memorise some foods I have not memorised.

    6) In Spanish, I would like to learn about Spanish sports again and progress my knowledge in how the Spain national team rank in different sports like Football, Tennis and Hockey.

  10. I have learnt tricky food names in Spanish. This will support me when someone is new or even if I go Spain 🇪🇸. I would rate it about 5/5. My favourite activity was when we did the food 🥘 word search and when we did the meanings of vegetables 🌽 and fruits 🍇 , meat 🥩 and junk food 🍕🍟🍔. I would love to improve on how to pronounce the Spanish way of all kinds of food and drinks like milk 🥛 ,coke 🥤and many more 🍹🍷☕️. I want to learn more like animals such as goats 🐐,cow 🐄,horse 🐎,camel 🐫 and zebras 🦓
