On 6th June, the year 6 cricket team travelled to Corley cricket club to take part in the Coventry Kwik cricket competition. The boys who took part were:

The day started off with a fixture against Pearl Hyde which we won. Our second game was against a school from Birmingham called Rosary, and although it was a very close game, we lost by 16 runs. We then broke for lunch. In the afternoon session we played Stivichall school. Firstly we played their B team and won convincingly, with Adul, Kieren and MJ scoring tons of runs. Our final game was against Stivichall A who had won every game so far. We Batted first and scored a total of 223 which was the best score against them all day. However, the Stivichall A team showed their class as they managed to over take our score and produce a tournament winning 233. Final standings were:
