Islamic art traditionally features geometric designs, using shapes such as squares, rectangles, triangles, and circles. It also includes many repeating patterns. That’s why we thought it was really important for 1 Red to be able to demonstrate their knowledge on 2D and 3D shapes, to help us in our art work.
From recognising, naming and sorting 2D and 3D shapes, it has helped us in creating beautiful, individual, geometric Islamic patterns.
