3 Blue had a super end to the week with Science day 🧪 🧬 where we conducted an experiment involving egg and air pressure (and you can see this in the video below~ ready to be wowed 🤩). They also they learnt all about the Italian inventor Evangelista Torricelli. They created informative and fantastic fact files and they all enjoyed the research part of the lesson and learnt so many never before heard facts about this amazing inventor. He created the barometer used to measure the weather and air pressure and he has left behind many legacies celebrating his achievements and recognition of his short but impactful and meaningful life. Children moved onto creating a class barometer to measure weather. In the afternoon we learnt all about the water cycle including discussing key scientific terms such as evaporation, condensation, precipitation, water droplets, clouds, rivers etc. All children were fascinated by the depths of their learning and by the end of the lesson were extremely knowledgeable about the natural process. Finally, children learnt about table salt and water colours mixing and they observed that the areas in which salt was sprinkled turned darker in colour. Science day was a super success and all children enjoyed themselves thoroughly (check the gallery below to see some amazing learning) 👏 😊 🧪 👍

I love it
I really enjoyed doing the experiments, especially seeing how salt and paint reacted together.
I liked it a lot
