This week in 3 White we have been exploring Mars to see if we can put life on Mars. Children have learnt all about the red planet and itโs atmosphere. They have reflected on their knowledge on what animals need to survive. Children learnt that the atmosphere on Mars is 95% carbon dioxide. They drew knowledge from their learning on plants this year to identify if they could get the conditions right they could put plants on Mars to kick start a process of photosynthesis adding oxygen into the atmosphere.
What challenges would you face living on Mars?
How could you overcome these challenges?
