As you are already aware, the Year 4 children will visit Bosworth Battlefield for the day on Wednesday 18th May 2022.
If your child normally has a school meal they will be provided with a packed lunch on the day. If your child normally has packed lunches, they are expected to bring their packed lunch on the trip. Please remember healthy snacks. The children are not allowed to bring sweets, fizzy drinks, large (sharing) packets of crisps, etc but a small chocolate biscuit is allowed.
If your child suffers from travel sickness, please make sure they take their travel sickness medication before coming to school. They will also need it for the return trip so can we please ask for you to bring it to the school office and sign the permission form.
Your child will need to wear their school uniform on the day of the trip. The weather has been changeable recently so we advise the children to bring a waterproof jacket in case of rain. Some of the activities will be outdoors, so could you also make sure that the children have appropriate footwear that would keep their feet warm and dry, e.g. walking shoes. trainers, wellies etc.
The bus will leave school at 9:00am and will be back by the end of the school day, so please make sure children arrive at school at 8:30am, so that they are all here, registered and ready to go!
