This week we continued with our topic ‘Familiar Stories’.
We listened to the story ‘Farmer Duck’ by Martin Waddell and did lots of exciting activities. Please take a look at our super learning. What was your favourite part of the week?
Communication and Language/Understanding of the World – To engage in story times and use new vocabulary in different contexts
Literacy –To write about our farm visit
Maths – To explore height
EAD -To create a collage of Farmer Duck
Basic Skills- To practise letter formation/spell and write CVC words
PSED – To build constructive and respectful relationships
We allocated class jobs together and then worked as a team to tidy our learning environment at the end of the day.
SMSC – To compare special celebrations
We looked at how Chinese New Year is celebrated and compared it to the different celebrations that we have.
