We have had the most fun this week learning all about Autumn. We looked at different seasons and dug a little deeper into autumn season to understand why leaves changes to fall down and why animals hibernate. In Maths, we have been comparing quantities and noticing attributes to similarities and differences. Here are some pictures and videos of our week. Make sure you comment for a treat.
C&L: To describe events in some detail. The children brought in autumn items (such as pine cones, conkers or fallen leaves) that they have found on their way to school. They then talked about how changes happens in autumn using the items as inspiration.
Literacy: Children used their phonetic knowledge to write words and sentences about autumn.
Reading: Children used magnetic boards to practice their reading and spellings.
Mastering Maths – comparison
