This week we made a cam mechanism in year 5. Something new I learnt was about what a cam is. I learnt that there are different types of cams and cams can make linear and rotary motions. The values that I applied this week was teamwork, brilliance and resilience.

The cool thing that I made was a clay plant pot.
How to make the plant pot by pinching the sides of the clay.
The value applied was teamwork because I helped my group by helping them paint.

I made a plant pot.
I have learnt that clay pots are very hard and can never break (unless you drop it).
I used tenacity and resiliance.

i “made” a basketball jersey which take a long time

we made our own plant pots using clay. after we mould and pinched our clay plant pots we started to paint them and we added little bits of glitter.
we had lots of fun painting our clay plant pots.
i have learnt a new thing that is moulding clay and making it into a clay plant pot.we also learnt how to put shapes on our plant pots and carving shapes out to.
we also did imovies talking about our plant pots and all about plants. it was really fun making the imovies.
we used teamwork to do our imovies and we used tenacity to make our own clay plant pots.

1. The cool things I made were the plant pots because on Wednesday when we started making them and then , when it was Friday we coloured them with paint and it was really nice.
2. The new thing I learnt was was how to make a plant pot with paper and clay. One was paper and then the other we made was clay.
