Maths week in 1 Red

This Friday we got up to loads of different activities I the morning, here’s a taste of what we got up to.

1. Painting patterns. Children used shapes as stampers to create repeating patterns.

2) Drawing patterns. Children used 3D shapes to draw around to create a pattern,

3) Sticking patterns. Children used 3D shapes to create different patterns.

4) Pattern games. Children used the iPads to play games to help them identify patterns.

5) Shape hunt. In the afternoon we went on a shape hunt to see if we could match any of the shapes we have been learning about to things we could find in school.
