Science Week in 4 Blue – Wind Turbines

Today we worked on all things wind turbines!

First we came up with questions to answer about turbines and did our own research to find the answers.

Then we created designs for our own prototype turbines and built them out of recycling.

How does a wind turbine work?

Why are they beneficial for the environment?

What other ways can we help reduce our impact on the environment?

A wind turbine works when you push a hole through the bottle and add a straw and turn it around.
They make use have electricity and never makes it stop working.
We can help reduce our impact on the environment by picking up litter and cleaning so it could look nice and neat and not rubbish on the streets and everywhere.
