I have enjoyed this whole week as it has been so fun.I have learnt about different angles in a shape and we learnt to have a growth mindset and not a fixed mindset. “In a growth mindset, people believe that their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work—brains and talent are just the starting point. This view creates a love of learning and a resilience that is essential for great accomplishment.” AND In a fixed mindset, people believe their basic qualities, like their intelligence or talent, are simply fixed traits. They spend their time documenting their intelligence or talent instead of developing them. They also believe that talent alone creates success—without effort. They’re wrong.
What is your favorite shape and how many sides/faces does it have?
My favorite shape is the 2D and a 3D shape like cube is a 3D shape

I ENJOY SHAPE WEEK THANK YOU MRS FRANKISH TO LET US LEARN about SHAPE AND THE YEAR 6 HAD TO DO CAKE SALE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

This week in 6 red we learnt about missing angles and shapes.I found out that the way you work out missing angles was to add all the shown angles and subtract it by 180 or 360 (depending on what shape it is).My favourite shape was the circle as you spend days trying to find out how many symmetrical lines it has but you will never get a answer.

I thought it was maths and investigation week…
I learnt about 2d and 3d shapes and also the properties.
I also learnt new 2d shapes which was the isosceles triangle and nonagon.
Also a new 3d shape which is called the dodecahedron.
my favourite shape is the isosceles triangle because it reminds me of a pizza slice.

This week I have learnt that if you have a fixed mindset u won’t keep trying and if you get something wrong you give up really easily. But If you have a growth mindset you always are willing to try and try until u get it correct. This week I have also learnt all the different parts of a circle.

I learnt different features of circles and I learnt why we should have a growth mindset and not a fixed mindset! My favourite shape would have to be a cube it has six faces. The reason I like it so much is because it is very easy to remeber the features!!😂😂
