This week we continued with our topic ‘Familiar Stories’.
We listened to the story ‘Owl Babies’ by Martin Waddell and Patrick Benson and did lots of exciting activities. Please take a look at our super learning. What was your favourite part of the week?
Literacy – To draw and write about ‘Owl Babies’.
Maths – To test objects to find out which are heavier and which are lighter and sort them.
SEAL – To know how to play nicely with others.
EAD – To explore, use and refine a variety of artistic effects to express their ideas and feelings.
Basic Skills- To practise pre-handwriting patterns and letter formation
Reading- To read and identify initial sounds/match CVC words to images
PSED – To be able to express their feelings and consider the feelings of others. We shared our worries and things that we are scared of and put them on our tree. We then talked about how we can tackle our worries and concerns.
