This week we continued with our topic ‘Familiar Stories’.
We listened to the traditional story ‘The Little Red Hen’ and did lots of exciting activities. Please take a look at our super learning. What was your favourite part of the week?
Communication and Language/Understanding of the World – To use new vocabulary in different contexts
Literacy –To write phrases/captions/words about the characters in ‘The Little Red Hen’ story
Maths – To measure length using non-standard measures
SEAL – To understand where Coventry is in the country
EAD -To learn rhymes, poems and songs
Basic Skills- To practise letter formation/spell and write CVC words
Reading- To spell words using Fred Fingers
PSED – To know and talk about the different factors that support their overall health and well-being
