Today 3 Blue tested the strength and polarity of magnets using paper clips and four different materials including paper, foam, felt and plastic. Children enjoyed the forces at play and watching the paper clips being lifted. They discovered which materials picked up the most amount of π and which materials picked up the least π. They recorded their results in a table and are now confident with their understanding of the strength and polarity of 𧲠and how they differ according to the materials. They worked wonderfully together in their tables and really pleased with the outcome. You can see for yourselves below in the video π
