    1. 21cm + 34cm = 55cm
    2. £1 + 10p = £1.10p
    50p + 10p + 5p +2p = 67p
    3. 20p + 20p + 5p +2p = 47p
    2p + 5p + 10p + 20p + 10p = 47p
    4. 13 + 22 = 35
    48 – 35 = 13cm, so that means the snake started with 13cm.

    £1+10p= £1.10
    50p+10p+5p+2p= 67p

    a) 10p+10p+10p+10p+5p+2p =47p
    b) 20p + 20p + 5p + 2p = 47p

    Gold:
    Snake: 13cm +22cm =35 cm
    48cm – 35cm = 13cm to start with

    It is 55cm this is how I worked it out I use 10 and 1s

    Sliver.
    £1.10p 67p
    10p 10p 10p 10p 1p 1p 1p 1p 1p 1p 1p =47p
    Two 10p 20p 5p 2p =47p

    Gold.
    It is 22cm-13cm=9cm because I worked it out

    It is 55 because 1+4 = 5 and 20+30 = 50 and add them up together to make 55.
    Task 2
    1. £1 plus 10p equals £1.10
    2. 50p plus 5p equals 55p plus 10p equals 65د
