Today all of Y3 took part in fantastic activities throughout the school day. This term we have been focusing on Italy and the amazing things to do and see there. Today was a great opportunity for children to tie their learning together in a cross curricular manner. The activities included making pizza, re-creating the Leaning Tower of Pisa using manipulatives, re-enacting the emotions felt as a result of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius through role play, creating a live Mount Vesuvius and drawing a Mona Lisa portrait who was brilliantly drawn by Italian artist Leonardo Da Vinci. You can find all our amazing learning below! We hope you have as much fun as we all did today!
