On Wednesday 13th December, Year 6 will be going into town to spread the Christmas Spirit. We will be in the Lower Precinct, singing and raising money for a local charity – The Cyrenians. We have supported this charity before. The charity works to support homeless people in Coventry.
The singing will start at approximately 1:30pm and last for 45 minutes. It would be lovely to see families there to support the children. They have all worked very hard to prepare for this.
We are asking that all children wear a festive head piece. This can be a Santa hat, a head band or as simple as tinsel around a hairband.
If any parents are available to accompany us on the journey to and from town, please speak to your child’s class teacher. We will need 2 volunteers from each class.
Finally, if you wish to take your child once the performance has finished, you can do so. In order to be able to do that, you need to make sure you have commented on this blog. We will not let a child go without an adult.
Any children who are not collected from town, will walk back to school and be dismissed at 3:15pm, as normal.
