Year 3 Portfolio – Spring 1 2023

Miss Jephcott

Well year 3 we have had another busy term full of learning. You have all made amazing progress. You have shown resilience and fantastic teamwork throughout this term. As part of our history unit we dressed up as Romans for the day and explored what it would be like to be a Roman, taking part in numerous Roman activities and challenges. In Design and Technology we created moving monsters using our knowledge of pneumatics. Whilst in English we created our own mythical beasts and hero’s and created our own mythical Roman story.     In science we have been learning about plants .plants have a lot of stuff to survive and living thing all need that stuff to survive
    In English we have been learning about myth I will show you what one is myth is when a good friend is fighting a very bad friend
    In math we have been learning about perimeter it is how you get the perimeter so easy but it is not that easy
    In history we have been learning about the romans are solders they fight a lot of army’s
