The competition is tomorrow! Please make sure you are in school at 8:30am and you are wearing PE kit with trainers. We will return to lunch as normal. The event is at Earlsdon Rugby Club, which is opposite the Xcel center in Canley. Parents can come if they wish but there is no space on the bus to travel with the children so will have to make their own way their and back. Good luck!

Last year Broad Heath were very successful with their girls rugby team, who made it through to the Coventry schools final and came 2nd. This year we hope to be as successful and if not more so. With that intention, we have selected 16 students from year 4 and 5 to represent Broad Heath at this years tournament. The first round will take place at Earlsdon Rugby Club on Friday 30th June. The students have met today and all agreed to join the squad and even agreed to give up some of their lunchtimes to practice from Monday to Thursday, which shows great commitment and tenacity. They will not need PE kit for lunchtime, but will need trainers. They are also invited to an after school club which will take place on Mondays for 5 weeks as usual. Here is the Rugby Squads in full.

4 Red – Alima, Zoe, Arfa, 4 White Amelia, 5 Red Elham, Sumaya, 5 White – Najma, Miski.
