On 25th October a group of girls ad boys from year 5 and 6 went to Warwick university to compete in a network netball tournament. The girls had previously been part of of our afterschool netballl club and were keen to test their skills out in a competition. For many of our students this was the first time they had been to a inter school tournament, so had been looking forward to the event for quite some time.

There were 2 Broad Heath teams, and there were 5 other teams from Willenhall, Whitmore Park, Stoke, and Ernesford Primary. Both teams did really well. BH green finished the competition in 3rd, with each player getting a water bottle as a prize. Broad Heath blue came 2nd, which as a fantastic achievement, with each player winning a goody bag. Well done to the children who took part, and a big thank you to the community team at Coventry Rugby for organising the event.
