As an introduction to our new Maths unit on Position and Direction, we completed a series of practical activities to help us get to grips with reading and plotting coordinates on a grid.

    It starts with the x axis and then the y axis its like down the corridor and up the stairs.

    The Pentagon is (5,2).
    The Circle is (1,5).
    The Square is (3,2).
    The Triangle is (3,4).
    What was the most fun you had today in maths?
    I loved going on the adventure to find the word based on our learning it was really fun and it was testing us to see if we could find the key word.
