For our first week back at school, we started our very exciting project for Geography! Our challenge is to learn more about our local area, to help us achieve this we carried out fieldwork in/ around Foleshill.

(Fieldwork is when you go outside the classroom and find out things for yourself or with your friends.)

Because of the weather yesterday, our walk had to be postponed. Thankfully, today was a better, dry, yet very chilly day. We were all super listeners, followed instructions and had so much fun. The children were tasked with identifying the features of Foleshill. They found so many! Please have a look at the video and answer the challenge below in a comment.

    1. On our walk, we saw; a market, a church, a big house, a dentist, a park, a police station, a library, a mosque.
    2. Foleshill Road is busy, there are lots of cars and houses.
    3. The library was favourite feature because it looks pretty and it has books to help me learn.

    Foleshill road is busy road, there are lots of cars and walking.

    3) What was your favourite feature, and why?

    My favourite feature was the shops because I like to by food. I also like the library because i like to read and i like the dentist because they help get my teeth better at the dentist.
