16.11.21 Science- 2 Red create a tea bag

This week we have linked our Science in with our English topic- traditional tales… Mother bear has ran out of tea bags so, we have tested materials to find out what would be the most suitable to use for creating a tea bag. I’ll let the children continue to do the explaining in this short video…

What were the perfect properties for a tea bag?

Which material did you think was the most suitable?

What material was strong but would not allow water to pass through?

1)A tea bag should not be soggy it should not keep all the water it should be strong and flexible.
2)the kitchen roll was the most suitable material
3)the sliver foil was very strong but there was not way the water can get out so not the best.
