1R Entrepreneur Week

This week we have been learning to become ENTREPRENEURS, just in time for the Summer Fair next week! We looked at Dr Thomas John Barnardo and how he changed the lives of orphans in the Victorian days. His charity work still continues today. You can buy used items from Barnardo’s shops to make money for charity.

We were inspired by this! Our Summer Fair stall will be Bric-a-brac. Children have been bringing in unwanted toys and other things from home to sell to raise money for our school. REMEMBER – There is still time to bring in your donations!

We have also been developing our knowledge and understanding of money. Watch our video to find out more…

We have also this week been learning about money, how we can both earn and spend it. We have looked at jobs we would like to do to earn money and what we might spend on the money. We have also been playing in our flower shop, as well as making labels for our objects to sell on our stall at the summer fayre.
