How can we group animals?

INSECTS

We went on a hunt for insects!

We made our very own insects too. We made these completely independently. What a creative bunch!

MAMMALS

We explored animal poo to investigate which animals were herbivores, carnivores and omnivores.

BIRDS

We went bird watching and found a robin and a pigeon. We then tried to create our own nests!

We also had a ‘Battle of the Beaks’. We had to use different equipment like tweezers, pegs and spoons to see which bird food we could pick up.


AMPHIBIANS

We created paper frog puppets!

REPTILES

We painted salt dough snakes!

    My favourite animal is kitten and because it is so cute and the kitten likes milk like me.
    I have learnt that some animals are cold blooded like snakes.I had lots of fun learning about poo of different animals.
