During our Art lessons this half term we have been looking at the artwork of Antony Gormley. As a result, we have created our own sculptures of animals. First we explored with the clay. We tried to sculpt different shapes and textures. We tried rolling, pulling, pinching and smoothing the clay.
This week we went outside to the forest area to create our final animal sculptures.
Which animal did you sculpt? Which natural materials did you use? What did you like about your artwork? What did you find difficult when sculpting? What would you do differently next time?
