1R Stay & Play

This week we have been learning about toys!

We began by looking at our own toys.
Here are some of our superstars showing you theirs…

During Stay & Play, some of our lovely grown ups gave up their time to come and talk to us about their favourite toys when they were little. This was a fantastic experience and will really help us with our learning in History.

We must give a special mention to Amelia’s mummy who spent her day making her own doll to show the children how she did this as a child. How amazing is that?!

It was interesting to hear that our grown ups played outside lots more than we do. They also didn’t have very many toys when they were little and often made their own toys and games.

CHALLENGE

Talk to a grown up at home and ask them about their favourite toy when they were little. Write your findings on this blog and we will talk about them on Monday during our History lesson!
