1R Toys from the past

This week, we learnt about toys that our grown ups played with when they were little. Lots were similar to ours but some very different too! Our grown ups didn’t have iPads or computers. That means no Netflix, no YouTube and no Disney Plus!!

Here are some of Miss Smith’s childhood toys. Some are her brother’s too!

This was Mr Andrews’ favourite game!

Miss Matthias shared her Beyblades with us!

Sofia’s mummy was kind enough to let us look at her childhood bunny rabbit. It came with her all the way from Lahore, Pakistan!

We had some great discussions about Kian’s mummy’s doll and we feel very sad she had to leave her behind!

We also spent time researching Haitham’s mummy’s favourite toys.

We would love to hear from more of our parents and grandparents. Please comment on this blog so that we can share and discuss in class! 😊
