This week we have been learning about the Commonwealth and Art around the World. Year 1 learnt about Pakistan and Islamic Art. We tried lots of different ways of making the artwork before completing the display!
We then visited a local Mosque to help us look at patterns and calligraphy.
What a lovely trip we have had! Even though we had to walk there in the rain, and we got a little bit wet!
The whole visit was fantastic and it is always fantastic learning about different places of worship and showing them respect.
What did you enjoy about this week?
Mrs Raja-Khan would like to thank the staff, children and families for being so respectful today. We are a school that is proud of our community and every individual within it.
