I had the best time ever my most favourite thing was making the rainbow candles and looking at the horses they were gigantic. Why did they have metal shoes? Why did they tie it to the slay? What was the horses name? In the olden times why did they not have phones, laptop and tv.

Hello Naksh. Thank you for your comment. The horses have metal shoes because they walked on the cobbles. The shoes stop their feet from splitting. This is the same today. Can you remember what they used to attach the horse to the cart?

Cobblestones are the stones that were used to make the road. We will see some when we visit Coventry City Centre later on in the year.

They used the leather harness. It’s a bit like rope made out of leather.

I learned about how the Victorian people use to live in their villages. I also learned that candles use to be made from sheep fat and they needed about 20 dips in the fat to make one candle.
The floor was hard and made from bricks. They didn’t have electricity so they used candles. They burned wood in the fire to make the house warm. The thing in the wall is a round bathtub

Hello Zak. Thank you for your answers. Well done. Where did the people put the bath tub when they wanted a bath? Why?
