2 Red learn about Plastic Pollution

Today in Geography we continued with our topic ‘Seasides.’ Year 2 learnt about how the human process of pollution affects the seaside….
They learnt how plastic can be fatal to fish and sea animals and that if we recycle and reuse, we can help reduce plastic pollution.

But, that’s enough of me talking, let’s see what your children have to say…
Watch this short video to see what interesting facts they learnt

We then created posters to showcase what we had learnt.

What is Plastic Pollution?

What can we humans do to Prevent Plastic Pollution?

Tell me 1 fact that you found fascinating from today’s lesson…

Plastic pollution is plastic objects where wildlife animals eat the plastic and they get hurt or can die. We can put our rubbish in the bin or if we see rubbish on floor we can pick it up and put it in the bin. I learnt we shouldn’t chuck our rubbish in the sea and on the floor as wildlife animals get hurt.
