This week, the big question was: what foods keep us healthy?
We began with categorising different foods and learning about the benefits of each food group. We also started a food diary to see if we were having a balanced diet.
We entered a competition with Aldi to design a healthy meal for an athlete who will be taking part in the 2024 Olympic Games. Fingers crossed one of our entries wins!
We also set up an experiment to see the benefits of milk versus more acidic foods on our teeth; we placed one egg in milk and another in vinegar.
Made and tasted carrot soup.
Lastly, we looked at the impact of food on exercise.
