2W ~ Calculating with money

As part of our Maths learning today, 2W learnt to calculate with money.

They were given items to choose from, all of different prices.

Using their addition skills and jottings, they added two different amounts together.

For example: Pizza costs 16p and Ice-Cream costs 11p. When we used our jottings to work this out, we found the total cost to be 27p.
We learnt to use our counting skills and identify the correct coins to use for finding the total prices and costs.
